I So Copied This...

I so copied this from Jus Me Again. With permission, of course...

1. What is your favorite word? Grace.
2. What is your least favorite word? Take a good guess. Ann Coulter said it recently, in case you didn't hear. And if you didn't hear, where were you honey? Tibet?
3. What turns you on (creatively, spiritually, emotionally?) Spontaneity.
4. What turns you off? Ignorance.
5. What is your favorite curse word? Slut (usually said in an ironic reference to myself).
6. What sound or noise do you love? My niece's laugh.
7. What sound or noise do you hate? Thunder.
8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? Lead singer for a Spanish band (check out the video below if you want to hear a track that's currently on "Loop" in my head).
9. What profession would you not like to do? Politician.
10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? Ernest Hemingway and C.S. Lewis have been waiting to talk to you. There's a Tori Amos concert at nine. Burt Bacharach is playing Thursday. Here's your margarita, kiddo.

Ha! That last one is funny! You dont like Thunder? Living in Cali we don't hear it much. I remember it from my time in Tx and Co. Its so powerful and wonderful and beyond our control. Reminds me of God! I dont like the "F" word either. Ugh. So you wouldn't want to be a politician and I wish that I was a politician! Go figure!

Maybe I need to head to Cali more, then. I really hate thunderstorms. Lightning's cool; it's the thunder that I hate. If you ever run for anything (and I ever move to Cali) you definitely have my vote. As for the last line, well, would you be joining me in the margaritas, then? Mine's virgin, of course (at least for the next two years).

Just got back from Cali on Friday. "Why do I live in Texas?" was the phrase that kept running through my head... the Bay Area was amazing the whole week. argh. But here's for holding out for hope -- my client is based out of there, so maybe one day!

I would actually miss the thunder; I really like it!

Sorry for being such a poor blog reader, Jay. It's good to hear what's running around in your head!
